Best BBQ in Scranton

Ok so I have traveled all over to eat and this by far is the best I had the ribs super tender sauce was amazing real baked macaroni and cheese and the fried cabbage is to die for if you are ever in Scranton stop in the steam town mall to uncle bills on the 2nd floor the family is so pleasant so please stop by and enjoy

My family and I stopped here today (7/19). We were greeted with a smile by Carol. We ordered the New York Chopped Cheese Steak and a side of collard greens. The family and I proceeded to devour our meal which left us starving to get more of the delicious BBQ. I returned shortly after and asked if I could get a sampler because I wanted to see what other hidden gems they had. There I was greated by Wendy. Who was able to help me out with my special request. While I waited for my food, we chatted, and she shared her passion for making BBQ and Soul Food. She shared her process to make her collard greens, which I let her know my wife loved it and it reminded her of home. She is from the Midwest. When my food was ready I got to meet Uncle Bill. I thanked him for the fantastic food and let him know when I was in the area I plan to return again. Overall, the food was fantastic everything we tried, everyone at Uncle Bill's BBQ was so warm and welcoming and truly love the food they make and the people they serve, and most of all it is Harris approved (My 17 month old son). Brisket so good forget about putting the sauce on it!!!!! Great sides too the candied yams were excellent. Real taste of the south keep up the good work!!!! Coming back to try the ribs next 😋

Very friendly staff. Packaged up the food for easy travel or easy dine in. And the brisket was so flavorful and tender. They definitely know how to smoke good meat here. The sides are great as well.
